“Jiu-jitsu keeps you in the present moment, where you have to focus completely on solving the problem in front of you. It trains the mind to build that focus, to increase your awareness and your problem-solving ability. Through the daily challenge of these difficult positions, you learn to survive difficult situations. You can learn how to find comfort in uncomfortable situations.”

– Rickson Gracie
